Brigham City

The Brigham City Temple is another beautiful addition to the many temples we have in Utah. Although the temple is not completely finished, I managed to omit the construction equipment from the photos.

St. George

Our last stop on our way home from California was St. George. Such a historic and beautiful temple.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas Temple. The church has an amazing ability to acquire land for temples that has the most amazing view. Las Vegas is no exception.

Reno Temple

Reno is a newer temple, and it is right off the freeway so it was an easy stop to make. Such a peaceful place. This was a great temple to add to the collection.

Oakland

I love the Oakland Temple. It sits high above the city of Oakland and overlooks the San Francisco Bay and the skyline of the city. Since the temple is such a visible landmark, commercial pilots landing at the SFO Airport use the temple as a reference point to begin their wide turn to land. What a wonderful opportunity I had to visit the Oakland temple over Christmas break.

Sacramento

For Christmas, my wife and I took a trip to California. We had the opportunity to stop at the temple where we were married 2 years ago. The Sacramento temple sits on a beautiful 46 acres overlooking the city of Folsom, just outside Sacramento. My wife and I walked the grounds, recalling that day and how special it was. What a great opportunity and a cherished memory.

Winter: Give Us an Inch

Finally! I've been waiting for it to snow to get some beautiful winter photos of temples, and there was finally a dusting enough to give me some beautiful images of the Bountiful Temple. Of course, my hopes were dashed, as this was in November and it is now mid-January and still not a flake of snow. I am anxiously waiting for our first big storm so you can see how beautiful our temples are in the winter.
